How to tighten the Vagina with Kegels

As we age, our muscles tend to loose tone and become weaker, and the vaginal muscles are not exempt. But the good news is that we can minimize this with regular Kegel exercises. In order to practice kegels, your PC and pelvic floor muscles must be trained to improve their strength and performance. Locate the PC muscles by inserting a finger into your vagina and trying to squeeze your finger. Make sure you’re not also tensing your thighs, buttocks, or anal muscles. Then try these exercises:

1) The short squeeze. Contract the PC muscles 10 times at approximately one squeeze per second. Inhale gently as you contract and exhale when you release. Start with two sets of 10. Gradually build up to two sets of 50 a day.
2) The long squeeze. Hold the muscle contraction for a count of three. Relax between contractions. Work up to holding for 10 seconds and relaxing for 10 seconds. Start with two sets of 10 each and gradually build up to two sets of 50.

3) Pull-in, push-out. Pull up the entire pelvic floor as though trying to suck water into the vagina, and then push out or bear down as if trying to push the water out. This exercise uses the abdominal muscles as well as the PC muscles. Do this five times in a row. Build up to 10 sets.

4) The elevator. Imagine that there’s an elevator in your pelvic region and that you want to raise it up floor by floor. Starting at the ground floor, go up to the first floor, then up the second floor, and last, to the third floor. Then gradually allow the “elevator” to go back down, stopping at each floor. Once you get to the ground floor, completely relax the muscles you’ve just exercised. Start with one set of 10 repetitions and build up to five sets of 10.

You can break up your exercises and do them in two or more sessions daily (in fact, I would recommend it) and still get the same benefits as long as you complete the total number of repetitions. Vary your position from standing, to sitting, to kneeling, to sitting in order to completely exercise the pelvic floor muscles.
If you need a more detailed guide then I suggest Beyond Kegels Third Edition, but there is a lot of free information on the Internet.

Gyneflex : A Cheaper Alternative to the Kegalmaster

The Gyneflex is basically the same concept as the kegalmaster, only its much cheaper. It comes in three different strengths, but you have to buy them separately. Many people have just purchased the highest resistance and were satisfied with their purchase. I highly recommend this if you don't want to spend too much. I've listed the Gyneflex along with some other cheap alternatives below.

I honestly think that the GyneFlex with VTP (R) - Firm Strengthis the best alternative to the kegelmaster. Chinese shrink cream is also a good temporary alternative, but I'll write a post about that later ;)

The Kegalmaster- A Scam?

Okay, so I've heard so much about it and I have been curious about it for about a year. I finally decided to stop being a punk and get one from amazon.com. I've done kegels alone and I also have the ben wa balls too. I must say, they are nothing in comparison! You have 4 springs that you use either alone on different pegs or multiple springs to give more resistance. The reason why this is better than the others, in my opinion, is because you can use more and more resistance as you muscles get stronger.
Looking at the pictures, I was a little apprehensive at first whether or not I wanted to put the kegelmaster between my legs on a regular basis. It certainly looked quite strange but after reading some of the benefits that it could provide I thought I had better give it a try. I decided in the end to buy it from amazon. Kegelmaster 2011 Advanced - Worlds Best Progressive Resistance Vaginal Exerciser (Comes with Instructional DVD)
because they have always been reliable in the past.
Anyway, without being too vulgar. They recommend that you hold the kegel for 2 seconds for 30 reps everyday. I used (1 spring on the second peg) it for about a minute straight holding for about 4-5 seconds each rep. I don't know how many reps I did because I was timing the minute and counting seconds I'm holding instead of counting reps. If you wanna try it, I just wanna warn you- I tried to do it so that it didn't feel sexual- I swear I did but after awhile, it did. After 3 weeks I noticed a MAJOR difference, my husband even commented on it. Soon after he struggled to even "enter" me.
I highly recommend this product to anyone! Also, there is no avoiding the fact that the kegelmaster is expensive. My suggestion is that you get it from Kegelmaster 2011 Advanced - Worlds Best Progressive Resistance Vaginal Exerciser (Comes with Instructional DVD)
as it is a good price, comes with a lot of extras but most importantly has a money back guarantee if you are not happy with the results.
